As the impact of Covid-19 has impacted our communities, Foundation of Hope has made some recent changes to our programming, to account for the health and safety of us all. The following is a message from our Founder, Rebecca Prosper, addressing these changes.
(Publicist, Katharine Booth) As we all continue to weather out the storm of Covid-19, I’d like to take a moment to give thanks to both our dedicated team here at Foundation of Hope, and the local communities we serve. I hope you, your friends and families are safe and doing well during this extraordinary time. While this moment is impacting us all in deep and meaningful ways individually, it’s crucial to remember that, no matter what your experience is, we are all in this together. In order to prioritize the health and safety of everyone, we are postponing all events until August 30th, 2020. This was a painful, but necessary decision to make. We’re eagerly looking forward to getting our community events back on track when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we’re still keeping up other initiatives, including our campaigns to help our local homeless population. Donations for these programs are as vital as ever, so please give what you can or share this link: https://donorbox.org/emergencymeal. We are also continuing our tutoring programs virtually, as all seven of our physical locations are closed until further notice. In keeping these programs going, we are taking numerous precautions to keep our students, clients and members safe. To everyone reading this, thank you for your continued support! Please be safe, be well, and remember that you are not alone. In the meantime, we’re still keeping up other initiatives, including our campaigns to help our local homeless population.
