The Foundation of Hope is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to campaigning for community members spanning numerous Connecticut locales. The Foundation is driven by the idea that a true community is not just about being geographically close  to  someone  or  part  of  the  same  social  web  network.  Rather,  community  depends  on  its  members  feeling  connected  to  one  another  and  responsible  for what happens to their fellows. Humanity is the ultimate community, and everyone plays a crucial role.

The foundation began as an effort to create environments within local communities that  inspire  hope  for  those  who  are  hopeless.  This  non-profit  organization  is  dedicated  to  collaborating  with  charitable  organizations  to  provide  solutions  to social issues, disaster relief, medical assistance and humanitarian aid with particular attention to children and education. Looking for Donations: Meal Donation for Pacific House Shelter

26/4/2020

On Monday, May 4th, Foundation of Hope will work alongside Pacific House shelter to provide meals for its 80 men. We are in need of further donations to fund the meal, and are looking for community support.

Foundation of Hope has a long-running commitment to providing meal assistance to the men at Pacific House, and we’re working to accommodate logistical changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In consideration of the health and safety of its men, Pacific House has moved its 80 men to two hotels, and has requested meals be prepared and ready-to-serve individually. These meals will provide 1 large sandwich and 1 bag of chips, costing $8.00 per person.

We will be ordering these meals from All Italian American Gourmet Deli, located at 703 Shippan Ave, Stamford CT 06902. Our special thanks go out to them for helping provide the meals.

We’re dedicated to maintaining continuity with our charitable efforts as much as possible during these uncertain times.

Please consider donating to our upcoming meal with Pacific House using the link below.

Any support is greatly appreciated. On behalf of Foundation of Hope and Pacific House, we thank you for your help.

Sincerely,
Katharine Booth
