A virtual community health fair is scheduled for Sunday, October 4th, 2020, streamed live from the SoNo Collection at 100 N Water Street, Norwalk CT 06854 for the public to view from Foundation of Hope's official Facebook and Instagram pages. The stream will take place from 12pm-5pm. This will be Foundation of Hope's second virtual health fair, Hope Conversations, Volume 2.
The live streamed event will feature two events. First, there will be a panel discussion featuring two celebrity fashion designers and three prominent members of Foundation of Hope, tackling current health and social issues including food security, public health, and the topics of Hispanic heritage and revolutionary fashion.
Second, there will be a fashion show, bringing together a team of models and designers who have volunteered their time to work in tandem with Foundation of Hope, to foster community partnership and bring hope to the public during these trying times.
Hope Conversations, Volume 2's panel will feature the following speakers: Foundation of Hope's Dr. Dawn Hewitt, a certified holistic health counselor; Foundation of Hope's Vice President Wayne Winston, Foundation of Hope's Roy Havranek, media director; and celebrity fashion designers Assane Sene and Rashad, of DAHSAR by Rashad.
The panel will be streamed in full for the public to watch via Foundation of Hope's official Facebook and Instagram pages.
We encourage the public to submit their questions in real-time via these streaming platforms, and may also send questions ahead of time to Foundation of Hope's social media channels and through email to Foundation of Hope publicist Katharine Booth at email@example.com.
On Monday, May 4th, Foundation of Hope will work alongside Pacific House shelter to provide meals for its 80 men. We are in need of further donations to fund the meal, and are looking for community support.
