The purpose of our events are to network and share resources available to the community, announce initiatives, create relationships, find collaborators and seek cooperation and coordination on various initiatives and programs. The foundation is always seeking to serve the community more effectively.
Celebrate National Night Out (NNO) in Stamford this year with us. As you know, NNO is a community-police awareness-raising event, held the first Tuesday of August. The event has been held annually since 1984. The first National Night Out involved 2.5 million residents; National Night Out 2016 involved 38 million residents.
The event is meant to increase awareness about police programs in communities, such as drug prevention, town watch, neighborhood watch, and other anti-crime efforts. This event is annually sponsored by local organizations and corporations passionate about serving and educating the community. Fun family friendly activities are also held to educate parents in caring for their children’s health, diet and dental hygiene.
We have many upcoming all volunteer fairs in various cities. We are always looking for volunteers to help distribute flyers in the community to advertise the date and time of our events. All are invited to share ideas, services and helpful information.
