2nd Annual Soccer Charity Tournament & Family Fun Day Seaside Park (by the Grove Area) in Bridgeport, Connecticut August 11, 2019 Time: 10AM - 5PM Communities Without Barriers Charity Tournament and Family Fun is a day dedicated to families coming together having fun while giving back to their local and international communities. The day is based around a soccer tournament, with kids and family activities during and in between soccer games. Each adult participant is expected to donate preferably in the form of school supplies, but cash donation is also accepted. Each donation will be considered as admission to the event. Participants will receive a wrist band which, grants them access to food and activities on the day of. There will be trophies and give away for the kids in attendance. We will be hosting a school supply drive in addition to accepting monetary donations during our event. “A true community is not just about being geographically close to someone or part of the same social web network. It’s about feeling connected and responsible for what happens. Humanity is our ultimate community. And everyone plays a crucial role.” Join us on August 11, 2019 for day filled with sports, community service, and mentorship.
